Our Services

We provide transportation services for vehicles cross country. We can only go as close to the pick up or delivery address where the driver is able to safely load or unload vehicles and avoid any possible damage to vehicles.

Fees are based on pick up and delivery locations, type of vehicle, and can vary throughout the year depending on gas prices.

Typical transportation time can take anywhere from 7 to 14 days depending on the locations, and weather.


Within California, our routes are in southern California with a few exceptions. We may soon be adding Northern California.

Going to the east: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. We do not go to all cities in these states, please check with us to see if we go to your city. Our drivers travel along major highways and do not go along the coast.

Going to the mid-west: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

Going to Texas: Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

Going to Nevada: Hendersonville and Las Vegas only.

We mainly go to cities along the major highways. And, whenever we can, we try to accommodate some cities further away from the highway. This requires prior communication and confirmation and not a guarantee.

  • Are there any discounts available?

    Our price is based on fair market price.

    In the event that you are shipping multiple cars at one time, you may quality for a discount.

  • Can I leave things in my car?

    Trucking is highly sensitive regarding weight.  Trucks must stop at weight stations to get weighed. Therefore, we ask that customers limit any extra items in the car to 70lbs and securely placed in your trunk.

    Please note that you are liable for any potential damages or losses of personal items.

  • Are there any additional shipping costs I should be aware of?

    It is at the driver’s discretion to charge any weight overages. If your vehicle has over 70lbs of personal items and you refuse to remove items to meet the weight limits, additional charges may apply. Please note that ACE Auto Trans, Inc. is not liable for any possible losses or damages to personal items left in the car at your discretion.

    In the event that you are not available during the delivery stage and cannot have someone to receive the vehicle, please note that there will be storage charges. In California, a grace period of 5 days is given to all customers, unless previously arranged with our office. Outside of California, terminal fees and number of storage days are determined by each individual terminal.

    In the case that you have confirmed the pick up or delivery and do not show up, there will be re-pick up or re-delivery fees.

  • What are the payment options?

    Cash, Cashier's Check, or Money Order made out to ACE Auto Trans, Inc.

    Credit cards can also be accepted. All credit card payments will have an added 3.75% processing fee of the total transportation amount.

  • How long does a transport take on average?

    Average transport time is 7-10 days. All delivery and pick up dates are estimated.

    NOTE: Any weather or mechanical issues can delay the truck. Unfortunately, we cannot control Mother Nature—although that would be great.

  • Once I drop off my car, is there anything I need to give to the driver?

    Please provide driver with key and car, and then you are done. :-)

  • Is the car insured during transportation?

    Be assured that your car is insured during transportation for any damages directly caused by the driver.

    NOTE: Your car will be on an open car carrier trailer and therefore will not be covered for flying rocks or acts of Mother Nature.

    We recommend that you contact your insurance company to ask if they offer a temporary insurance policy while the car is being transported. Any items in the vehicle will not be covered.  All items placed in the vehicle by you (the customer) is done at your own risk and discretion—please note that any overages in weight limits may lead to additional fees at the driver’s discretion.

  • I want to ship my vehicle overseas. What should I keep in mind?

    If your car is being shipped overseas, it must not have anything inside the car or trunk (with the exception of a child seat), must have less than a quarter tank of gas, and cannot have any cracks or breaks in the windows.

  • Can I track my car?

    Although we don't currently offer an online tracking system, you can always call the office to ask for delivery status. We’re happy to hear from you and provide the reassurance you need from Point A to Point B.
